When you’re working on your computer then suddenly your screen turns sideways, or it tilts, it could be caused by a few reasons.

Solution 1: Use CTRL+ALT+UP

If you’re not signed in to your computer, sign in then press CTRL, ALT and UP arrow keys at the same time. This will rotate your screen back to the normal or default display setting.

If this doesn’t work, you can press the CTRL, ALT and either the Left, Right or Down arrow keys together to rotate to the display setting you want.

Take the following steps to fix the screen turns sideways issue:

Right click on the screen
Click Display Settings

Click Advanced Display settings to open monitor settings

Click Display Adapter Properties

Go to the tab with your graphics card
Click to reveal rotation settings option depending on the type of graphics card you have installed

Under rotation settings, choose 0 degrees or Normal option to return the display to an upright setting. If you get the option of disabling rotation keys so that the screen turns sideways issue doesn’t recur, you can select it
Click Ok to save changes
Exit from the Properties window
