You can now install Microsoft Edge on Chrome OS. Here's how

• Recently Microsoft launched an Edge beta Linux version making it available for its users to test it.
• Although Microsoft Edge is not supported on Chrome OS machines there is an easy way of installing it though.
• The Linux version is officially unsupported on Chrome OS at the moment being available in the beta phase at the moment.

As we already know, Microsoft has released the Edge beta version for Linux confirming a stable launch later in 2021.

For many users with a Chrome OS device, using all the Google services is of course the way to go since the operating system is built around the Chrome browser.

However, in case you simply want to test another browser, you can now install Microsoft Edge. Although it is not officially supported on Chrome OS you can install the Linux version that was released in beta.

Install Microsoft Edge on Chrome

Go to the Microsoft Edge Insider page.

Scroll down the page and click on the download icon under Linux(.deb).

Next, select if you want the Edge Beta or Edge Dev.
