  • 2. Create a new user with administrator privilege

  • Press the Start button > open Settings.

  • Select Add someone else on this PC.
  • Choose I don’t have this person’s sign-in information.
  • Click Add a user without a Microsoft account.
  • Enter the required information: user name, password, security questions > click Next.

  • Go to Accounts > click Family & other users.
  • Select Change account type.
  • Under Account type, choose Administrator > click OK.

    3. Add user to the administrator group

  • Right-click on the Start button > open Computer Management.
