    How do I delete a user profile in Windows 10?

    1. Remove the User Profile As Administrator

  • To remove any user profile, you need administrator access. Another thing to note here is that you cannot remove the user profile you are logged in with. So, if you want to remove one of your primary profile, you need to create a different profile with administrator rights and then try to remove the corrupted profile.
  • Login to your PC with the administrator account. Make sure the account you are trying to remove is not the one you are logged in with.
  • Press Windows Key + R to open Run.
  • Type netplwiz and press OK to open the User Account window.
  • Under user for this computer section, you can check all the user profiles in the system.

  • Select the user profile you want to remove and click on Remove.
  • You should see “Are you sure you want to remove the select profile” window click Yes.
