In order to make sure that Windows 10 is getting all the love it needs, Microsoft will be making it possible to stream Xbox One and Xbox 360 games to Windows 10 PCs. How awesome is that, right?

Great news, Xbox gamers – Microsoft announced that Xbox One users running Windows 10 and who are members of the preview program will be the first to make use of the new Game Streaming feature.

The new great feature makes it possible for users to stream their console games to a remote computer. What’s really cool is that it mirrors the full console, meaning you can access the home screen and apps . However, at least right now, it’s not possible to stream movies, music or other protected content. Now you no longer have to buy a separate game for your PC, which, if you ask me, is a long overdue feature!

Thus, Microsoft will be making sure to increase sales of its Xbox One gaming console, as well, as this is a great advantage over the Play Station. However, in order for this to work, you will need to have the same Xbox Live account. Furthermore,  a Gold subscription will make sure that you can get into a multiplayer game or use voice chat.

Game Streaming will also make it possible for one person to play on the console while the other plays on the PC. As for keyboard and mouse compatibility, Microsoft said that you’ll need a wired USB controller on the PC.

Also, if you have an older Xbox 360 console, the terrific news is that Microsoft is also going to let you stream those older games to Windows 10 PCs. The Xbox team said it took such a long while to make this possible since the two systems have a very different architecture.
