  • Press the Win + X keys and choose Task Manager.
  • Go to File, and then choose Run new task.
  • Inside the pop-up window, type cmd then click OK.

  • Hit Enter.
  • Your device will restart.

  • Press the Win + R keys.
  • Type control.exe then click OK.
  • Click the Clock and Region button.
  • Choose Set the time and date.
  • Click the Internet time tab.
  • Select Change settings.
  • Click on Synchronize with an internet time server to uncheck it and then click OK.
  • Return to the Date and Time tab then click Change Date and time.
  • Set the date to a few days in the future and click OK.
  • Restart your PC, and set the correct date once again.
  • 4. Reinstall the Universal Windows Platform (UWP)

  • Hit the Windows + X keys and click Windows Terminal (Admin) from the list.
  • Copy then paste this command and hit Enter:

    Note: You might see a few red lines while the command is being executed. Don’t be worried, wait for a few minutes for the execution to be completed.

  • Restart your PC. 
  • 5. Restart specific services

  • Right-click the Start button and choose Task Manager.
  • Click the Processes tab.
  • Locate the Windows Explorer service.
  • Right-click on it and select Restart.
  • Switch to the Details tab, locate the services listed below, and hit the End Task button for each of them:

    SearchIndexer.exe

    SearchHost.exe

    RuntimeBroker.exe

    6. Uninstall updates

  • Press the Win + X keys and choose Task Manager.
  • Click File then Run new task.
  • Inside the pop-up type control.exe, then click Ok.
  • In the Control panel window, click Programs
  • Below Programs and Features, click View installed updates.
  • Right-click the Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5006050) then uninstall it.
  • Restart the computer. The taskbar should work okay after the reboot.
